The following ministry opportunities are available at ZEMA's Sondela training center in the Eastern Cape:

• Maintenance worker / Teacher: Responsibilities include maintenance work for the Sondela campus and possibly other sites in the future. Candidate will also learn the Xhosa language with the intention of becoming a ZEBS teacher and will help with general mission work. Preparation should include at least three years of Bible training.
  *At least a five-year commitment is expected. *
• Teacher / General worker: Responsibilities include learning the Xhosa language, teaching at ZEBS, teaching at local churches and doing general mission work. Future work could include course development and school administration. No leadership or pastoral work in the churches is involved. Preparation should include at least three years of Bible training.
  *At least a five-year commitment is expected. *
• Short term worker, Female: Responsibilites include assisting teachers of ZWEBS courses, assisting pre-primary school teachers, or assisting other mission workers. Candidate will live with a missionary family and work primarily with that family. Maximum extension is two years.
  *A minimum stay of 10 weeks is expected. A six-month to one-year commitment is preferred.*
• Short term worker, Male: Responsibilities include assisting ZEBS teachers and assisting other mission workers. Candidate will live with a ZEMA missionary family and work primarily with that family. Maximum extension is two years.
  *A minimum of 10 weeks is expected. A six-month to one-year commitment is preferred.*
• Short Term Team Workers: Please contact the ZEMA office to see if a team is presently being formed. Teams are sent to assist with building and maintenance or for specific ministry projects. All team ministries must be coordinated with the ZEMA office.
