Sunbury Christian Camp is a camping facility owned by ZEMA in the Northern Coastal region of
KwaZulu Natal (KZN). As the crow flies it is approximately 10 KM inland from the sea west of Zinkwazi Beach.

In the midst of cane fields, the camp is located on one of the highest points in the area. On a clear day,
the east views a panorama of the Indian Ocean and west views beautiful rolling hills which become the foothills of the Drakensburgh Mountains.Click

The ministry which centers at Sunbury Christian Camp is primarily twofold.

ZION Ministry: Sunbury Christian Camp was purchased by ZEMA to serve as a center for Zion
Ministries. These include various business meetings of those associated with ZEMA, and Zion Evangelical Fellowship
of Africa, as well as one Zion Evangelical Bible School (ZEBS),
ZEBS Graduation -KZN,
Zion Youth Camp -KZN, Teacher's Training -KZN, and a ZEBS Alumni
conference.

Self Catering Camping Ministry: During those times throughout the year which ZEMA is not
utilizing the camping facility for it's Zion Ministries, Sunbury Christian Camp is open for booking to any
Evangelical/Christian Organization or Church. Very generally speaking, Sunbury is available for booking to other
organizations 2-3 weekends per month. For further assistance with bookings please refer to Contact Information.

Other: -At this time local ministry to the community consists of a
children's Bible club.
The camp facilities accomodate large groups.
Three Dormitories accommodate 134 people. Ablution facilities include hot water, showers and toilets. All bedding is provided.
The Conference Hall/multipurpose room is available for various meetings and services.
The Dining Hall/Kitchen is housed in one building.
- Dining Hall -comfortably seats 134.

Kitchen -both electric and gas appliances are available
for cooking and food storage. These include: stove/ovens, fridge, freezer, microwave, urn and a bain marie for
keeping food warm.
Recreation Facilities include a games room which houses various games and supplies such as: table tennis, darts, pool table, volley ball,
soccer ball and basket ball. A squash court, netball hoop, volleyball net, soccer field, swimming pool
and children's playground equipment
provide excellent outdoor recreation.
